Your memories,
from you to your loved ones.

You prepare your letters, photos and videos. You choose who will receive them. Their transmission after your death follows four steps, with human verification.

  1. You create
    your space.

    A free account, with no payment card required, to start preparing what you want to leave behind.

    Your verified account includes one text slot free of charge. A subscription lets you add slots according to your chosen plan.

    You can sign up using the standard form or Google. In both cases, you must verify your email address. You can then explore your space and add beneficiaries free of charge.

  2. You choose
    what will remain.

    A letter, a photo, a video. Each item is linked to one or more people of your choice.

    You stay in control of your memories and their recipients from your dashboard.

    Change content or a recipient

    As long as your account remains accessible, you can edit or delete your content and change the linked beneficiaries. Deleting an item frees up its slot.

  3. The death is reported,
    then verified.

    An authorised administrator reviews the report and its official supporting document.

    Dunelia does not monitor account inactivity or automatically contact trusted people. Submitting a death report alone does not transmit any content.

    How the report is reviewed

    The person reporting the death uses the public form and provides identifying information and an official supporting document in PDF or image format. Only authorised administrators can access the report.

    They may request additional information, confirm the death or reject the report. Their decision is recorded.

  4. Each loved one receives
    what was meant for them.

    After the death is verified, opening transmission remains a human decision, made for each individual file.

    Each recipient receives a personal link to their file, containing a copy of only the content addressed to them. They receive six months of free access, then may take out an “Recipient Access” subscription for their own file.

    Access periods and minors

    A warning is sent one month before the six free months end. Without a subscription, access is suspended, but content can still be recovered for another six months. After that, advance notice is sent: the file is retained for a further six months, then permanently deleted.

    For an heir under 18, the file is stored free of charge and sealed until their 18th birthday. Nobody may view it on their behalf, and no access period begins before they come of age. They then receive their personal link and their six free months begin.

    Access is individual. One recipient's subscription never maintains another's access. No automatic status change opens a transmission.

Your space and your content

Creating and verifying an account and adding beneficiaries are free and do not require a payment card. Your verified account includes one text slot free of charge. A subscription lets you add slots according to your chosen plan.

Files cannot be accessed through a direct public link: the site checks permissions before displaying them. You access your content from your account. Administrative access is restricted to authorised people for verification or support. Content is not encrypted end to end or at rest by the application.

Yes. As long as your account remains accessible, you can edit or delete your content and change the linked beneficiaries from your dashboard.

Media can be viewed individually from your account, but a complete one-click export is not yet available. You can exercise your rights of access and portability by contacting contact@dunelia.com.

No. Your data is never sold, and your content (letters, photos, videos and loved ones) is never used for advertising. Some data is processed by service providers: Stripe for payments, Google if you choose Google sign-in and, only with your consent in the cookie banner, Google Analytics for audience measurement and the Meta pixel to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Passing content on to your loved ones

The death must be reported manually with an official supporting document. An authorised administrator reviews the report, may request additional information and records their decision. No content is sent automatically.

No. Access is strictly individual: each heir has their own file and can take out their own subscription if they wish. One person's subscription never maintains another's access.

The account is not automatically closed based on a file's status. However, the original content is deleted when no heir's file entitles it to be retained, meaning after the retention periods for all the heirs concerned have expired.

Your subscription and continuity of service

The subscription is marked as overdue. Its slots are then no longer counted as active. A failed payment alone does not trigger automatic deletion of content.

Without a commitment, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. With a twelve-month commitment paid monthly, cancellation can be requested at any time but takes effect at the end of the commitment. It does not delete the account or existing content. No automatic deletion deadline after cancellation is currently applied.

The service does not yet provide a contractual process to retrieve or transfer all content in the event of closure. Dunelia therefore cannot promise permanent storage; a plan for returning content still needs to be established.
