6 free months for your loved ones,
then the choice is theirs.

After a user dies and verification is complete, each designated loved one receives their own file, containing only the content personally addressed to them. Nothing is mixed or shared.

One file per heir

During their lifetime, the user links each item to one or more loved ones. When transmission opens, DUNELIA creates a separate file for each recipient containing a copy of only the content intended for them. An heir never sees another heir's file, and each person's access is managed separately.

The timeline

  1. The death is reported, then verified

    A loved one completes the report form and provides a supporting document. An administrator reviews the file manually. No transmission takes place before this validation.

  2. 6 months of free access

    Each heir receives an individual link and can freely access their file for 6 months. No payment card is requested and no payment is committed to.

  3. We give notice one month before the end

    At the end of the 5th month, an email reminds the heir that their access will end and explains how to keep it. Nobody is left without advance notice.

  4. After that, access requires an individual subscription

    To keep access, each heir takes out their own “Recipient Access” subscription at 2.99 € per month, for their own file. One heir's subscription never maintains another's access.

  5. Without a subscription: 6 months to change your mind

    Access is suspended but nothing is deleted. For 6 months, taking out a subscription immediately restores the entire file.

  6. Advance notice, then permanent deletion

    At the end of this period, advance notice is sent. The file is kept for another 6 months — giving you time to contact us about an error or dispute — before being permanently deleted.

If the heir is under 18

Their file is stored free of charge and sealed until they come of age. No countdown runs, no payment is requested and nobody can view the file on their behalf. On reaching 18 years of age, they receive their opening link and their 6 months of free access begin — after which the same rules apply.

Why a subscription after 6 months?

Storing videos, photos and letters has a monthly cost for as long as they exist. We chose the clearest approach: a generous free period for grieving, followed by a modest individual subscription for those who wish to keep the content long term — rather than charging users more during their lifetime or abruptly deleting content after a few months.
